Guizhou Aiyi River Douban Chili Sauce Wins International Flavor Award, Earning Global Recognition for Its Quality

Recently, at the International Taste Institute’s annual awards held in France, Guizhou Aihe Douban Chili Sauce impressively won the "International Taste Award" for its unique flavor and exceptional quality. Often referred to as the "Oscar" of the food industry, the award is judged by a panel of more than 50 top chefs and culinary experts from over 20 countries worldwide.

Aiyi River Douban Chili Sauce is crafted using premium broad beans and chili peppers grown at high altitudes—above 1,200 meters—in the local region. Following traditional fermentation techniques, it undergoes 180 days of natural aging to develop its rich, complex flavor. Jean-Michel Bouvier, Chairman of the judging panel, praised the sauce: "Aiyi River Douban Chili Sauce perfectly balances a deep, savory umami aroma with a fresh, natural spiciness, delivering a multi-layered taste experience and a distinctive flavor that truly captures the unique charm of Guizhou’s culinary heritage."
